cultoverkinski.com is a site I built to talk about whatever I'd like to in film; I use it as a means of digital curation of (in my opinion) lesser-known films that I appreciate and that I think should be appreciated by others. I write primarily about giallo, noir, and westerns.
The site is named for notorious German actor Klaus Kinski (b.1926 d.1991); I feature many of his films here.
I started cultoverkinski on blogger (lmao) but later transferred to neocities. It was a frustrating process at times in learning bare minimum html and css and applying it to the site, but there are so many users on neocities that curate resources specifically for beginners (thanks!!).
I moved to neocities for several reasons. Besides more personalization and customization, I wanted most to get out of social media (which is what most newer neocities users like me express in their reasons for taking up site-building in the first place). I wanted to feel like an individual online and make my small space of internet.
